The organization is envisaged as a global entity, with Regional Chapters, and will have as its campaign target the de-linking of the terms “black” and “white” from value-judgement statements about good or bad: Black or White, nothing to do with “Good” or “Bad”!!
Being a global entity, means that it aspires to world-wide reach with no geographical confines. For obvious reasons having to do with the language’s dominance, spread and influence, as noted above, the major challenge for the organization, and hence main initial target of its efforts, will necessarily have to be the English language, and, specifically, the already-identified and very damaging “blackness of bad…” narrative.
At the same time, however, as argued and demonstrated in OBS, the problem that the organization seeks to solve is by no means confined to the English language, even if the latter, by reason of its iniquitousness and dominance, causes by far the most damage. The thinking, accordingly, is that, regional Chapters will be established of SERIAL in the key major language centres (e.g. Madrid, Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Beijing, Cairo, etc.) by users of the concerned languages to tackle such elements of systemic racism as may be exhibited by those languages.
