MEMBERSHIP

It would seem evident, from the scale and complexity of SERIAL’s objectives, and taking into account the sheer number and variety of human languages, that only a “movement” will have the passion, sustained impetus, and mobilizing potential to achieve success in such an undertaking.



Being thus conceived as a “movement”, it is natural to make SERIAL a membership organization. Doing so will not only provide a platform for effective mobilization of needed support on the ground, but also, just as importantly, if not more so, accord motivated people the opportunity and facility to identify with, and express support for, what is undoubtedly a worthy and transformational cause. A membership organization also facilitates the coalescing of like-minded people into a force that can wield a significant “lobbying” influence for good in society.
